WAFL GRAND FINAL APPOINTMENTS

16 Sep 2019

Last night the WANFLUA held the annual Grand Final announcements barbecue where the top umpires for each discipline were announced and the appointments for this week’s grand finals were revealed.

Congratulations to the following umpires who were announced as the umpires of the year:

Montgomery Medal – Matthew Adams (Field Umpire)
Devine Medal – Jordan Russell (Boundary Umpire)
Carter Medal – Sam Hunter (Goal Umpire)

Also congratulations to those umpires who have been appointed to grand finals in all grades this week, in particular field umpires Daniel Johanson and Jordy Wright and boundary umpire Luke Graves, who have been appointed to their first WAFL League Grand Final.

We would also like to take this time to thank the head coaches and all match day coaches for their efforts this year to make this group what it is. Our coaches are one of the main reasons why this group has had such a successful year.

Once again congratulations to the award winners and all those appointed to games this weekend!
