After 105 WAFL League games popular field umpire Jordy Wright has decided to retire from umpiring.
Jordy has had a successful career, winning the Ross Capes medal in 2014 as well as umpiring in the National 18s Championships in 2015.
In 2019 Jordy reached the pinnacle of WAFL umpiring, by being selected to umpire in the 2019 WAFL Grand Final. Off the back of this, he was selected to umpire in the 2020 AFLW season.
One of the most popular umpires within our group, Jordy always brought great energy which will be missed by our group.
The WANFLUA wishes Jordy all the best in retirement.
