2019 WANFLUA HALL OF FAME

Congratulations to the following umpires who will be inducted into the WANFLUA Hall of Fame on the 27th of July at Ernest Johnson Reserve:

Stuart Parry (Field)
Greg Smith (Boundary)
Adam Peacock (Goal)

Stuart was a member of the group from 2002-2015, making his league debut in 2003. He went on to umpire 291 games, which included 5 State Games and 7 WAFL Grand Finals. Stuart was also an AFL Rookie, and won 3 Montgomery Medals for the field umpire of the year.

Greg was a member of the group from 1994-2015, making his league debut in his first season. He went on to umpire a then record 451 league games, which included 159 AFL games, and 2 AFL finals. Greg also umpired 1 State Game and 2 WAFL Grand Finals, and won the Devine medal for best Boundary umpire in 1996.

Adam was a member of the group from 2001-2012, making his league debut in 2003. He went on to umpire a total of 206 league games, which included 69 AFL games. In addition, Adam also umpired 1 State Game and 2 WAFL Grand Finals, and was awarded the Carter Medal for best goal umpire in 2005.

The WANFLUA wishes to congratulate these three umpires on their outstanding achievements on being inducted into the Hall of Fame!

More detailed information about the function (including how to buy tickets) will be sent out in the near future, however it will be held on the 27th of July at Ernest Johnson Reserve and tickets will cost $40.
